Privacy Policy
This page explains what Cresta Marine does with the personal details you give us through this website: what we ask for, why we ask, who can see it, and how to change your mind.
Who we are
Cresta Marine sells and supports Kumbra Yachts from Abu Tig Marina, El Gouna, Red Sea Governorate 84513, Egypt. If you have a question about anything on this page, or you want us to act on one of the rights described below, write to info@crestamarine.com.
The registered entity responsible for your data
Awaiting approval. This section is not yet confirmed and should not be relied upon.
The full registered company name, commercial registration number and registered office of the entity that controls this data have not yet been confirmed for publication, and are deliberately not guessed here.
What we collect, and when
We only hold what you type into one of our forms, plus the technical records a sign-in system has to keep in order to work.
Creating a My Cresta account: your name, email address, mobile number, an optional company name, the kind of account you are asking for, an optional message, and a password — which is stored only as a one-way hash and is never readable by us.
Requesting a quotation from the configurator: your name, email address, mobile number, and the configuration you built, so an advisor can price that exact boat.
Requesting access as a partner or ambassador: your name, email address, mobile number, company and message.
Signing in: a session record, the IP address and browser the session was started from, and the times it was created and last used.
Sign-in attempts: the email address tried, the IP address, and whether it succeeded — kept so that repeated guessing can be slowed down, and deleted automatically after 24 hours.
Actions taken inside the portal: an audit record of who did what and when, so account and pricing changes can be traced.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, to prepare and discuss a quotation, to run your My Cresta account, to support a boat we have sold, and to keep the account system secure. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing.
Consent to be contacted, and how to withdraw it
Where a form asks you to tick a box agreeing that we may contact you, that tick is what permits us to get in touch about that enquiry or account. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@crestamarine.com, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did while it was in place.
Ticking that box is not a condition of anything unrelated. It covers contact about the enquiry or account you are creating — not a separate marketing list.
Who else can see it
Awaiting approval. This section is not yet confirmed and should not be relied upon.
Your details are stored on hosting and database infrastructure operated by our hosting provider, and emails we send you are delivered through a mail service. The full list of processors engaged under contract, and the countries your data is stored in, still needs to be confirmed before it is published here.
How long we keep it
Awaiting approval. This section is not yet confirmed and should not be relied upon.
Sign-in attempt records are deleted automatically after 24 hours, and expired sessions are removed as they lapse — both of those are set in the software and are accurate. Retention periods for enquiries, quotations and account records have not been set by the business and are deliberately not stated here.
Your rights
Awaiting approval. This section is not yet confirmed and should not be relied upon.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@crestamarine.com. We will respond to any such request.
The specific statutory rights that apply to you depend on where you live, and the supervisory authority a complaint would be made to has not been confirmed for publication. Those details need legal confirmation before being stated.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets a cookie only when you sign in to My Cresta, and that cookie exists solely to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site at present. If that changes, this page will be updated before any such tracking is switched on, and anything requiring your consent will ask for it first.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle your details, we will change this page and update the date shown at the top.
